Whetstone offers a Northwoods-styled bunk house for our guests who need accommodations before or after adventures. Newly renovated in 2019, the bunk house sleeps 8 and includes a separate living area and front porch perfect for sitting and reflecting.
The main lodge is where you will find warm meals, showers and fellowship. Also extensively renovated in 2019, this is the headquarters of all Whetstone wilderness operations. Hot drinks are served at the coffee bar, a perfect place to gather before and after your trip. Before you leave, be sure to sign a canoe paddle!
Whetstone is a producer of finely crafted canoe paddle blanks to be finished by fathers and sons or fathers and daughters around the country looking for a memorable weekend project. Contact us today to learn more about scheduling a Whetstone paddle-making workshop in your hometown.
Whetstone exists to glorify God in our calling to service.
We take opportunities to minister as they become available. Outdoor wilderness adventures are one of our core services. We also provide teaching, preaching, camps, fishing trips, family camps, construction skills camp, canoe paddle workshops are some of the ways we minister.
We attempt to build men up in a world that tears men down and destroys families. The Bible is taught to encourage men in their calling as Christian fathers and husbands.
Whetstone uses the outdoors “classroom” to encourage men in their relationships with God and with their families.
